Learning Target: I can use the electromagnetic spectrum through wavelengths and frequencies. BRAINPOP day! Learning Target: I can differentiate within the Electromagnetic Spectrum by using wave properties.
We are going to continue with the video to dive further into the Electromagnetic Spectrum. Learning Target: I can explain the differences within the electromagnetic spectrum through visuals. We are going to circle back to the Electromagnetic Spectrum this week. Today we will watch a video and explain. The video will be posted below as well as the notes and practice that were previously given. Today will be somewhat of a review and then we will dive deeper throughout the week. Learning Target: I can illustrate a convex and concave lens by drawing light rays. Today's assignment is to draw a concave and convex lens diagram like we previously looked at. Examples are in previous posts! Learning Target: I can apply information of concave and convex lenses to real world examples through matching. We are going more in depth of concave and convex lenses. The notes are in yesterday's post. Your assignment and video are below! Learning Target: I can understand the difference between concave and convex lenses through vocabulary. We will be looking at notes over convex and concave lenses. This may take today and tomorrow. The notes and video are below!
Welcome back! I hope you had a relaxing and fun Spring Break at home! We are now in the final 6 weeks of your 8th grade year! So crazy! All you need to do today is review our lessons from before the break, watch the videos, look back over the notes and assignments and get ready to move forward tomorrow! Learning Target: I can identify sources of light waves by finding real world examples. Your mission today is to go outside. Go outside and see how the sun reflects off of different surfaces: trees, windows, etc. Then enjoy some fresh air and have a picnic in your own front/back yard! Video is posted below. HAVE A GREAT SPRING BREAK!!! Learning Target: I can identify sound waves by their amplitude and frequency. Today we are going to look at the differences in waves determined by their amplitude and frequency. A graphic organizer, your assignment, and the video are below! |
